California Dreaming - Pacific Coast Sunset Reflections

My husband (artist Chuck Middlekauff) and I had driven the ever-curling California Hwy 1 (Shoreline Drive or Pacific Coast Highway) and were headed to Fort Bragg to tuck ourselves in for the night. It was the late afternoon when we passed this little pocket beach they call Seaside Beach.
Chuck quickly figured out that it would be a great spot to watch the sunset. Turned out it was better than that. The tide was just coming in. While our pantlegs got wet every time the water rolled in, when it rolled out, it left amazing reflections! And a few cool photobombing birds showed up, too. Notice the gull on the top of the rock and the one who flew into the frame from the left. I like that.
