The perfect autumn day surrounded us as we drove across the passes between Durango and Ouray, Colorado. Between Red Mountain Pass and the Million Dollar Highway near Ouray, this historic mining cabin stood right in the middle of hills covered in brilliant yellow aspens - the perfect photo op.
